here i am

i'm here.  laptop on lap.  no plug.... battery came!  i've got so much to write.  i know.  i keep saying that.  it's just that writing is something i am learning to enjoy- but it doesn't just flow from my finger tips.  it takes energy- and i don't have a plethora of that these days.  i mean, i have enough.  but.  i am not trying to write a fluff piece here.  i want substance in my words.  i want to use impeccable words.  and im still a perfectionist.  even though i know that the words that come from me at the time i spew them onto my computer screen will be just right.  

my friend maria suggested we start having writing dates.  she wants to start writing more, also.  i think that the next day i have off from work i am going to take this here portable laptop of mine and head to sweet pea and spew.  all the words that have been jumbled in my head for weeks.  months.  

it's a new year.  and i always have good things to say with a new year.  i love a new year.
